The year the Super Bowl was played at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena was the year the Dallas Cowboys rose back to prominence (pun intended) after a 15 year Super Bowl drought. The Dallas Cowboys would bring home their third Super Bowl title in team history by dominating the Bills 52-17. The Bills became the first team ever to lose three consecutive Super Bowls. The Cowboys forced a super bowl record 9 turnover (5 fumbles and 4 interceptions) breaking their own Super Bowl record set in 1977. 35 of the Cowboys points came off of turnovers. Troy Aikman was named Super Bowl MVP.

Super Bowl Logo facts: In the patheon of Super Bowl logos this one is classy. After 5 consecutive years of using red, white and blue the NFL finally moved away from the color scheme and added a more modern touch to the logo. Using burgundy, teals, and roses paying tribute to the Rose Bowl and the city of Pasadena.
